Ralf Vath is SVP and General Manager for Discrete Manufacturing Industries at SAP, where he drives the industry strategy and customer success agenda across automotive, high-tech, industrial manufacturing, and aerospace and defense. He previously led SAP’s global Asset and Service Management portfolio, pioneering Asset Performance Management and Reliability at Scale as part of the Intelligent Asset Management vision. With earlier roles in consulting, custom development, and as Chief Architect at SAP Innovation Services, Ralf combines a deep understanding of customer challenges with pragmatic product leadership.
Ralf is recognized for his “tell it like it is” leadership style, paired with an obsession for customer success, uncompromising quality, and operational excellence. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering (Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen) from Pforzheim University, studied at RMIT Melbourne, and earned an Executive MBA from Mannheim Business School.
